Who we are

This website is run by EcoRafiky Africa Foundation, based in Nairobi, Kenya. If you have any question about your information, email ecorafikiafrica@gmail.com or call +254 719 614 800.

What we collect

• When you contact us. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, for example to donate or partner with us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number and message.
• When you browse, if you agree. With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, time on page, device and browser type, and approximate location (city or country). It does not tell us who you are.

Cookies

Analytics cookies are only set after you choose Accept on our cookie banner. If you choose Decline, no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings.

How we use your information

• To reply to you and send the details you asked for, such as how to donate.
• To send receipts and updates on the work your gift supports, if you have given.
• To improve the website, using anonymous, combined analytics.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who we share it with

Google processes analytics data on our behalf. Email and WhatsApp messages pass through the services you use to send them. We only share personal information with others when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and donor records only as long as we need them to support you and to meet legal and accounting duties. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. To do this, email ecorafikiafrica@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
